The Associate Director, Investment will work closely with their leadership team to renew and create new capital partnerships in conjunction with the forecast and pipeline across various media channels. This requires a proactive strategy based upon prior media relationships to give insight into new partnership opportunities and provide excellent customer services in order to steward partners.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Agencies of Record (AOR) and Media Partners
  • Onboard new media partners with AORs; educate and onboard new and existing media partners to the Orion process
  • Help determine future opportunities/spending in the pipeline with AORs; find and share value and benefit of an Orion partnership
  • Draft contracts for Finance approval and serve as point of contact for Finance for deal approvals by presenting the opportunities to monetize
  • Work with team to accurately project and track spend in partnerships with finance and agencies of record and to anticipate billings for upcoming year
  • Monthly maintenance of required capital transactions
  • Work to grow and develop the team, through performance management and consistent, clear feedback
  • Ensure team has received all tools and training to excel and grow in their roles
  • Assist team with conflict resolution with media partners, agencies, internally as needed
  • Cascade information and empowers the team to action

Desired Skills & Experience

About You: 

  • Minimum six years’ experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Media 
  • One year experience managing people 
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors 
  • Strong negotiating skills required Ties to the media community including agencies and media companies 
  • Extremely competent in Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills required) 
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint,, a plus 
  • Strong communication, follow-up, attention to detail and organizations skills required 
  • Proactive, driven, and desire to be challenged daily

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $100,000.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
