Zusammenfassung der Position

The Director, Client Advice and Management, supports the Group Director in their mission to deliver business-appropriate, best-in-class solutions for Initiative clients. You partner with the integrated Initiative team and across the SBUs to ensure brilliant strategy, design, flawless execution and most importantly, delivery on KPIs and business results for your client.
 
You support the Group Director in day-to-day management of the client and the internal team. Your daily insights will keep your Group Director ahead of the game with your category expertise, status updates and proactive guidance. You have excellent knowledge of your clients’ business and are an authority on Initiative and the SBUs to your clients, colleagues and team. You identify challenges and opportunities, both internally and externally, and seek solutions that achieve the client’s goals. The Director “makes the trains go” – and is accountable for ensuring everything is operating smoothly, accurately and on deadline.

Schlüsselverantwortlichkeiten

  • Drives the day to day management and quality control of the team
  • Manages all communications in a timely manner, with no request going unnoticed
  • Contributes to and authors client proposals, recommendations and points of view
  • Builds and evolves exceptional relationships with day to day leads on the client side, as well as with the clients’ partner agencies
  • Ensures the client has relevant knowledge of the Initiative proposition, Infinity process, product and systems, in turn managing the client to engage with Initiative in an effective manner (e.g. optimal briefing lead times, thorough briefs)
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of the client’s business (brand and corporate) and their needs
  • Possesses strong understanding of the client’s contract with an ability to distinguish between in and out of scope work, with the ability to create and deliver SOW proposals for clients for any project work that is out of scope
  • Demonstrates an exceptional level of knowledge in the client’s category and their competitive set
  • Leads meetings with the client, ensuring the need is clearly identified and items are actioned as required
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to push back on unrealistic demands and manage expectations of all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Ensures all client financial stewardship, reporting, budget management, authorisation and billing needs are met in a timely an accurate fashion
  • Participates in all client briefings, and articulate client needs and objectives to the integrated Strategy, Communications Design and Partnership leads
  • Applies a client lens to all areas of Initiative product, ensuring solutions developed are business- appropriate and meet agreed-upon KPIs
  • Educates your team, your Group Director and Discipline leadership on your clients’ business, culture and industry on a regular basis
  • Keeps all leadership and team members informed and aware of new developments internally and externally
  • Develops your team through performance management and the delivery of regular and constructive feedback
  • Actively drives and support the efforts of leadership and the integrated client team, including SBUs, to deliver brilliant work, best in class, integrated solutions and flawless execution, contributing to positive client satisfaction and advocacy scores as measured through TRR
  • Supports the Group Director in leading key projects and internal timelines
  • Ensures over delivery of all agreed-upon performance KPI’s
  • Possesses an excellent understanding of the client’s contract and tightly manage the agency scope of work, identifying opportunities for incremental revenue streams
  • Supports the Group Director in tracking and managing team staffing and resource allocation
  • Seeks out opportunities to grow existing business and drive organic growth across group of accounts, through Initiative’s services as well as those of Mediabrands’ and IPG partner agencies
  • Manages tracking and reporting on all staff utilisation to ensure profitability and maintenance of scope boundaries
  • Tracks and reports progress against financial goals / targets across Initiative and Mediabrands SBU’s on a regular basis

Gewünschte Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

  • Tenure guideline: 8+ years’ experience in Marketing, Advertising or Media; 4+ years’ experience in leading, managing and developing a staff
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and partners
  • Ability to drive projects from conception to completion; project management experience
  • Background in consulting, marketing, advertising or integrated communications
  • Strong leader, presenter and packager of opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen
