Position Summary
RED is a new full-service media agency that creates customizable solutions for ambitious brands by balancing the needs of intelligent strategy, data-driven insights, and innovative creative ideas. The ideal candidate is someone who is entrepreneurial and doesn’t mind that the day to day is a bit fluid. Ambitious brands seek us out when they have big ideas and need a nimble team that can execute through a streamlined process that makes it easy for clients. In this role, you’ll be part of a growing team and have the opportunity to implement processes, develop talent, and participate in building an agency with brands you’re passionate about. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on bringing ideas to the table, is a natural hand-raiser, and is comfortable in bringing proposed solutions to a client or tackling agency challenges. The Strategy Director’s has a strong working knowledge of media across all channels, are data driven in your approach and can easily identify the most effective strategies to address client need. This role will be responsible for planning audience-first, holistic communication strategies and campaign. To be most successful at RED, you must be driven, collaborative, creative, and a solid communicator.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead the creation and execution of strategic deliverables for key client and new business pitches
· Drive and own adoption and execution of the organization’s Objectives & Key Results across the RED team, including a review process and alignment to key Mediabrands/IPG company-wide initiatives.
· In addition to client work, this role will be expected to be a contributor to content and use cases for new business
· Analyze large amounts of information and data quickly and effectively to reduce complexity and make actionable recommendations
· Steer large, cross-functional projects and build consensus with senior leadership across the organization.
· Systems thinking and the ability to imagine and drive the creation of new structures or processes required for business success
· Establish and maintain relationships with core and emerging media partners
· Involvement with pitch development, prep and presentation.

Desired Skills & Experience
· 7+ years of experience in a media or brand strategy role
· Demonstrated excellence guiding high-performing executives / teams of executives in working together to achieve company and/or business unit goals
· Advanced influencing skills as well as ability to communicate directly to drive accountability where required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; previous experience with board & executive communications a plus
· Interest and curiosity with the media industry up to date on new and breaking marketing news and client opportunities.
· Comfort with data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
· Project management fluency
· Significant entrepreneurial drive, ability to create order from chaos, and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems where required
· Agility to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment in the face of many competing priorities
· Trustworthiness to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity
· Experience with new business and the client pitch process
