We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Orion team as a Financial Analyst. This role will report into the Associate Director, Client Finance and support the team across an extensive spectrum of commercial, operational, forecasting, accounting and ad hoc deliverables. This opportunity will afford the right individual a wide range of responsibilities and exposure to develop skills in media finance while being part of a team and organization that is looking to expand into new products and areas of growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Support media investment team in analysis, deal set-up and approval flow. Includes Analyzing and preparing prepaid media deal approval submissions across multiple media types.
· Assist with maintaining and preparing reporting/updates on deal utilization across all media types to aid in commercial and risk management efforts
· Assist media teams with forecasting process and providing accompanying analysis and reporting
· Ongoing tracking of deals and approval status
· Process inbound requests for setup of TBI codes, prepays, new vendors and processing of investment payments
· Preparation of prepaid media aging and amortization analysis and reporting
· Preparation of revenue files for close across multiple media types
· Preparation of monthly/quarter journal entries
· Ensure timely and ongoing billing across multiple media types
· Perform ad hoc analysis on specific media vendor deals
· Other ongoing deliverables such as trade hold and reconciliation of prepaid media
· Reconciling and clearing out A/P related to prepaid media
· Create and update process docs
· Partner with media teams to regularly track and pursue trade owed (if necessary)
· Create manual vouchers for reconciled amortization calculated manually on a quarterly basis.
· Conduct regular meetings with the media teams to review aging balances
Desired Skills & Experience
Work Experience:
· Media/agency experience preferred
· 1-2 years of experience within a financial budgeting and/or accounting function
Skills:
· High attention to detail, analytical mindset, possesses sense of urgency, thrives on accomplishing tasks accurately and efficiently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi task, high level of integrity, quick learner, a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Highly proficient with MS Office products such as Advanced Excel, Power Point, and Access
· Ability to create pivots, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and spreadsheets
