Position Summary

At Orion, we are responsible for delivering value to our clients by leveraging relationships with our media partners across all media types. The Media Investment Manager is a key role working to support the team, taking focus on the day-to-day running of all campaigns via Orion and being the first point of contact for the agencies. This position within a fast-paced environment requires the candidate to be confident, self-reliant, innovative and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Agency Associates.
• Oversee all bookings, ensuring they are sent over accurately and on time.
• Lead Agency relationships with managers and their teams – including introductions, regular updates on spend for both full-service agencies within Mediabrands, McCann, Matterkind and external agencies.
• Lead the Associate team meetings.
• Aggregate and summarise upcoming forecasted spends for traditional and programmatic media to present to the Directors.
• Support the Trading Director with vendor negotiations and the efficient running of deals.
• Ensuring accuracy with the team inputting bookings into the Orion system and onto DDS.
• Liaising with the Finance team to ensure accuracy across billing and reconciliations of traditional and programmatic bookings.
• Oversight of all savings statements being updated and sent out by the team, including any credit processes.
• Supporting the Operations Manager to streamline processes where there are inefficiencies.
• Ensuring Associates in team are happy with work and operating efficiently.
• Overseeing the Agency Associates’ development and ensuring they are performing to a high standard.
• Supporting the Directors in any tasks away from the normal scope of work.
• Coordinating local EMEA market bookings via the UK.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of media and experience working across multiple media channels.
• Previous experience in managing people.
• Advantageous to have had experience negotiating with media vendors.
• Knowledge of the digital buying/planning landscape a plus.
• Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
• Personable with an ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels.
• Able to present ideas cohesively and confidently.
• Extremely competent in Microsoft Office Applications – strong Excel skills is a must.
• Competent working on Media Ocean (DDS and Prisma).
• Willingness to learn and can pick things up quickly.
• A proactive approach to tasks.
• Possess strong organisational skills.
