Position Summary
Who you are: 
You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact on a specific piece(s) of business. This role involves deep client vertical knowledge which leads to managing the account, developing and executing innovative search media plans that address the client’s strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for the development of strong paid search teams leading the execution of world-class search programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Key participant in strategic search planning and execution
  • Develops a deep understanding of the client business and the role the search program plays in meeting business goals.
  • Ensures search and social best practices are applied across the account and platforms/engines.
  • Accountable for campaign performance and meeting client goals.
  • Demonstrates ability to present and sell strategies/plans through to the client.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership in an evolving Search & Social landscape.
  • Identifies additional opportunities and partners with VP/SVP to up-sell and cross-sell to the client.
  • Relationship liaison between the client, the partner agency and the search & social practice.
  • Develops client / partner agency presentations alongside the VP/SVP and contributes to enterprise level strategy.
  • Works to improve productivity with a consistent focus on operational excellence.
  • Supports external Business Development and Marketing initiatives such as sales pitches, case studies, etc.
  • Accountable for setting expectations, providing feedback, and developing the team.
  • Cascades agency updates to keep their team informed.
  • Partners with team on test and learn opportunities for the channel.
  • Ensures team has received all tools and training to excel in their roles. This includes but is not limited to our own training and MSFT Excel.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience
Work Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in media/search agency, advertising agency, or similar media environment. Experience in a previous SEM role is required. Social experience is a plus.
  • Ability to judge and quantify results of media efforts placed on behalf of our clients (i.e., understand/describe impact of results, compare actual results to needs of client) and the ability to translate this data into a story.
  • Working knowledge of online performance tracking and measurement tools.
  • Proven ability to represent company philosophies and expertise to external parties; including clients and partner agencies.
  • Continued enthusiasm towards the medium and the desire to constantly educate one’s self on the latest information.
  • Experience in growing, managing, and inspiring internal search teams; strong leadership and administrative skills. Fosters an environment that enables action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including clear communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy when working with numbers.
  • Proficient in Google Ads, Bing Ads and third party bidding platforms.
  • Proficient in Social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, Tiktok).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of project management platforms a plus.
