Position Summary

The Global Operational Solutions Lead will support the development and implementation of an overarching operational strategy and set of connected systems supporting Kinesso. Initial thinking is that this will apply to the services businesses, but this could grow to include product, applications and Matterkind (addressable activation). Part of the Lead’s key objectives will be defining and managing the scope. The Lead will manage the program and the dedicated team that they will hire against the program. They will be the key visionary; defining the overarching system architecture and refining existing operational flows to fit. For the right person this role provides a fantastic opportunity to define and build solutions from the ground up.  

 

The Lead will have experience as a true hybridthe role encompasses a mix of operational, business technology, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. The position will play a critical role in delivering technology projects that support the organizations near and long-term objectives. They will define the strategy for the operational system and process architecture to ensure alignment between the business teams, operations, and technology. They will be responsible for leading the identification of appropriate process improvements and technology tools to underpin revised workflows. These tools may exist as functionality under existing tools or may be net new to the organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: 

  • Laying out the road map from vision through to program delivery; ideally in increments to build and maintain interest in the program across the organization
  • Creating the budget and investment plan against the roadmap in partnership with Finance/Commercial
  • Creation of user/stakeholder use cases and user stories to define overall vision
  • Working and managing communication across multiple stakeholders:
    • Business/operations/service team users – partnering with these individuals to understand the business and ensure program delivery is aligned to their needs
    • Commercial/finance – assistance with budgeting of the investment and developing understanding of finance needs from the overall solution
    • External partners & vendors – providing direction to vendors to ensure alignment and speedy delivery of solutions
    • Management – keeping the program team’s goals aligned with the company direction & investment
    • Developers – building understanding of integration needs, scoping requirements and working with development team to ensure clean delivery 
  • Provide counsel and expertise to team members, translating technical terms and processes as needed
  • Successfully build and deliver on project plans under the program umbrella
  • Develop and lead change management process and implementation of solution(s)
  • Coordinate user and super user trainings.
  • With a technical eye, participate in developing presentations, content, and design concepts in partnership with cross-discipline teams (key to stakeholder management)
  • Ability to supervise and manage technology activities, including troubleshooting, and technical maintenance/monitoring
  • Apply risk management procedures through the program’s life cycle
  • Generate demand for your service, both internally and externally

Desired experiences: 

  • Experience rolling out operational tools and processes at a professional services company, ideally within advertising 
  • Experience evaluating and implementing project management, resource management, timesheet/utilization, pricing tools 
  • An understanding of operational reporting needs for professional services companies 
  • An understanding of key needs for professional service companies (headcount/resource management, pricing insights and consistency, service delivery, scope management etc.)
