Position Summary
The Audience Strategy Manager is an exciting position within Kinesso’s Audience Practice team. The role consists of being the expertise centre of audience strategies and supporting our internal and external clients. This entails being both the technical expert of audience deliverables as well as the champion of our audience products and solutions.

Primarily looking after the UK, the role can have project-based responsibilities across the EMEA region, depending on the candidate’s experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Audience Analytics
  • Work collaboratively with internal clients (typically the account or client services teams within the media agencies, such as Initiative and UM) and brands (the clients) to define audiences and agree on clear audience strategies and deliverables.
  • Deliver audience work within our Kinesso Data Stack. This includes using SQL and modelling skills to create audiences, generate audience insights and push the audiences to activation platforms.
Project Management
  • Ensure a smooth running of audience projects, including supporting agency teams on commercial and legal processes.
  • Devise and optimise audience project workflows and dataflows.
  • Track project status using the project tracking system and provide ad-hoc commercial and project reports.
Product Management
  • Work closely with the Global Product team and product end-users (agency teams) to ensure high-quality product maintenance and services at the local level. This includes testing new functionalities and collecting product feedback from the end-users.
  • Test new audience syndication routes and match rates at the destination platforms and distil learnings into summarised results.
  • Work closely with agency account teams to ensure our audience products are innovative to fulfil the latest client needs.
Product Marketing and Training
  • Create tailored product marketing material for both internal and external stakeholders, including training presentations, project processes and case studies.
  • Set up and present product training sessions to ensure continuous product uptake.
  • Present in internal product roadshows as well as new business pitches, as required.
Stakeholder Management
  • Host regular meetings with agency champions to maximise product revenue opportunities and provide project support.
  • Participate in data vendor meetings as an interface within the team.
  • Manage tech vendor relations such as syndication and activation partners to facilitate our product development and enhancement.
Desired Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
  • SQL – fluent (ability to write new code, adapt current code templates and work with SQL fluently).
  • Python (or other statistical/modelling languages: for example, R or SASS) – limited (able to set up the environment, follow the script and execute pre-written code templates).
  • Excel - strong experience (including knowledge of vlookup).
  • Good understanding and quick to grasp new concepts (including statistical/mathematical concepts)
  • PowerPoint – Good knowledge of design elements. Ability to make PPTs that are internally ready without the aid of the design team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and appetite to solve problems.
  • Good understanding of ad tech and mar tech platforms, and DSP activation (frequency capping, bid prices, optimisation strategies, etc).
Soft Skills
  • Presentation – Strong presentation skills. Ability to confidently present in front of both internal and external stakeholders. To be able to articulate our product proposition, explain benefits and distil technical concepts in easy-to-understand formats.
  • Experience communicating with and influencing a range of audiences and stakeholders including executives.
  • Experience managing new and innovative products – such as rollout, feedback collection and creation of collateral.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and being able to act as the bridge between our technical developers and our end users.
  • Strong commercial mindedness.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
