As Nike’s Marketplace Associate Director, you will own, deploy and execute the Marketplace strategy of one of
the most exciting accounts in market.
You will work with the extended Matterkind Nike team and will own the relationship with the client directly, launching successful Marketplace solutions customized to Nike’s specific needs and unique market requirements.
Solutions ranges from SPO strategy and its implementation to the set up of Nike’s own premium marketplace construct.
You will ensure delivery of solutions and engagements in an adequate manner while providing best-in-class service.
You are a people person, with a passion for building relationships and delivering outside the box solutions.
You will interact daily with different stakeholders including members of the team, publisher teams, tech vendors and
the client.
You have great negotiation skills and can apply common sense to strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities
Ownership & Management of Nike’s premium Marketplace
Create and get approval on Nike’s premium publisher list (detailed inventory curation) across the
wider EMEA region and per market of presence
Create and maintain curated inventory lists per each of the 5 Nike’s constructs
Negotiate a preferential Nike rate card across all identified key publisher partners
Set up Nike’s catalogue of premium marketplaces
Provide recurrent reporting on premium inventory performance and provide optimisation
recommendations
Create curated marketplaces to meet Nike’s needs, this is specific but not limited to impact and
attention marketplaces
Work with the wider team to vet and onboard 3rd party tech partners when appropriate. This
includes safety and verification partners, data partners and more.
Create recurrent reporting to monitor OMP vs PMP investments and revenue impact on PMP growth & scale
Run occasional presentations and training sessions for the client team
Analyse PMP buying strategies and provide optimisation recommendation where needed
Desired Skills & Experience
You are a veteran within the digital world with experience leveraging cutting edge technologies for delivering best in class digital solutions for advertisers. Having worked with a large variety of vendors you have basic knowledge of how to utilise several tech platforms.
You have a thorough understanding of how the digital marketplace works and an in-depth knowledge of the different media vendors in the EMEA market.
You are proactive and eager, and you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty by being involved in multiple aspects of the business.
You prefer to win in a team than win on your own because shared glory is better than standing on the podium alone.
- You will hold a degree (most probably surrounding Marketing and Communication)
- Ideally 4+ years of relevant professional experience within Digital Advertising
- Proven experience in Campaign Management through a variety of different platforms
- Experience in working with different size teams to deliver an outcome
- You will have 2yrs+ experience in trading/investment or commercial operations, including negotiating large
and complex commercial agreements
- You are very approachable and have a strong ability to build meaningful relationships.
