Position Summary
We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Matterkind Client Finance East team as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role you will be involved in all stages of the Client Finance and Operations process. This opportunity will kick-start your career in media and provide the chance to work across a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day to day finance responsibilities for a portfolio of clients including, but not limited to, client/product/estimate set up, monthly billing process, ad hoc reporting and vendor payment issues
· Support the Client Finance Manager/Sr. Manager to maintain expert and fluid knowledge of clients’ commercial models and contractual arrangements
· Set up new partners in MBox
· Review and approve MIE opportunities
· Assist Programmatic Strategy teams with the financial management of live campaigns
· Work with Shared Services to resolve billing issues
· Work with Shared Services to manage client receivables and vendor payment status
· Prepare invoice revisions for review and approval
· Maintain incident report log file
· Work with your AOR financial counterpart to follow up on intercompany accounts receivable
· Support the Client Finance team with internal financial reporting: monthly flash, month end close, quarterly forecasts, etc.
· Assist in the development of processes and workflows
Desired Skills & Experience
· 2+ year of experience in Client Finance/Operations
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Industry experience desired, experience in Programmatic media a plus
· Knowledge and passion for media/advertising
· Ability to work successfully across multiple teams
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities
· Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities
· Proficiency in MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Ability to be flexible and a team player
