Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Analyst, Web Analytics to help create data-driven marketing solutions on a leading pharmaceutical brand. The web analyst's responsibilities include tagging and tracking engagement on websites, analyzing a website’s user behavior, generating insights to help better understand its users, and creating easy to digest reports.
This role will allow you to grow your skills in web analytics while also giving opportunity to collaborate with many internal & external partners, as well as brand leads. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Google Tag Manager to implement event tracking on brand websites
  • Using a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity.
  • Generate quarterly or monthly reports on web analytics performance to showcase your findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand.
  • Communicate insights and providing solutions that have demonstrable results.
  • Working with your team to create website strategies and optimizations to improve conversion.
  • Partner with web development, creative, and marketing teams to implement your team’s solutions.
  • Understanding the behavior and expectations of online visitors.
  • Coordinate cross-channel reports with internal and external partners
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends in online marketing and design.
  • Previous data mining and analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with major web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Salesforce.
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills to present and explain insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively with different people in marketing, and creative fields.
  • Strong time management skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 0-1 years of web analytics experience is essential for this role; candidates who do not possess relevant experience will not be considered 
  • Google Analytics certification or Adobe Analytics equivalent with experience managing and manipulating accounts, properties, and views 
  • Google Tag Manager experience, specifically creating/editing tags, triggers and variables 
  • Familiarity with at least one online dashboard platform
  • Client management and presentation experience, preferably within the Fortune 500
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly around explaining and illustrating technical concepts to those in non-technical roles 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously 
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
