Position Summary

This role offers a unique, client-facing opportunity to build and scale solutions to solve media data and reporting challenges through automation and scaled approaches. The Associate Director (AD), Product Management will lead and execute product management activities in support of the Amazon business at Reprise (Rufus) and the Amazon client lines of business that Rufus supports.  Responsibilities for this position include liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand business challenges and, working in conjunction with the Reprise Data Solutions and Governance (DSG) and Rufus Engineering teams, defining, developing and maintaining the product roadmap as well as building and scaling products across the Rufus organization.

The AD, Product Management must be self-directed and self-driven. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced, ever-growing environment and establishing order.  Additionally, the candidate has a foundational understanding of media measurement and analytics, as well as the underlying tools and technologies that support such efforts - from media platforms and channels, through to infrastructure and integration know-how.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and document business needs
  • Manage the development of detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation required to translate business needs into product features
  • Prioritize product backlog and ensure user stories are groomed ahead of sprint planning
  • Participate in agile scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives
  • Track team velocity and deliver new features every two weeks. Communicate progress or blockers to management
  • Champion the Agile development methodology across our organization
  • Partner with UI/UX team to improve product usability and experience
  • Develop, define and maintain product roadmap
  • Determine positioning, messaging, and product sales approach
  • Communicate product updates and roadmap to stakeholders, executives, and users at a regular cadence
  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop product documentation, training content, and sales materials

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with media workflows, such as planning and buying or billing ; or alternatively experience in media analytics, measurement, MMM, or business intelligence visualizations
  • A solid understanding of marketing, paid media and ROI
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements in support of technical product development
  • Hands-on analytics-based experience using SQL and ability to articulate technical ETL requirements
  • Practical experience in scrum-based Agile development methodology
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent workflow automation tools
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field
  • B.S. in Engineering, Information Management, or Computer Sciences preferred
  • Previous experience managing projects related to ad tech and cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Snowflake a plus
  • Experience with any data visualization platform such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker  a plus
