Position Summary

Reprise Commerce is seeking an Associate Director (AD) of eCommerce, Media, eager to challenge the retail norms, create industry leading campaign strategy and combine best in class media skills with industry-leading retail consulting. You are an expert in retail marketing. You puzzle over new data sets, new signals and metrics.  You enjoy brainstorming new ideas and reviewing data with serious rigor. Your responsibilities include building and growing strong client relationships, providing strategic direction to the account teams, ensuring the health of eCommerce accounts, scoping projects and developing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continual evaluation of search marketing strategies to identify opportunity for competitive advantage for Reprise
  • Responsibilities will be across retail media platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Criteo, etc.
  • Liaison between search and eComm teams to help contribute towards a multi-channel approach/strategy
  • Master, identify and communicate trends in retail and client industries
  • Be the trusted advisor to eCommerce team, with demonstrated ability to lead the team relationship, across all levels
  • Establish current and long term goals and objectives for responsible accounts, subject to approval by the Director and/or VP
  • Manage the overall day to day activity of managers and liaises with strategists to ensure key strategies and vision are deployed
  • Oversight of recommendations for division of budget - accounting for media spend, agency fees, tracking fees, etc
  • Create and present case studies, POVs, etc
  • Analyze search planning budgets, of assigned accounts, to identify strengths and weaknesses and ensures proper financial allocation
  • Experience analyzing retail sales reports
  • Express differences on Media Metrics
  • Show critical thinking & problem solving on a daily basis
  • Lead discussions on attribution, audiences and intent internally and externally
  • Clear POV on value of eRetail vs D2C and on the future of eCommerce
 

 Leadership Expectations:

  • Responsible for management of direct reports as well as overall development and success of the team
  • Lead, develop and manage staff. Offer guidance support, direction and provide development opportunities
  • Ensure team has received all tools and training to excel in their roles.  This includes but is not limited to deal math, sales techniques and excel
  • Accountability for team development; this includes utilizing organizational tools such as L&D, creating internal opportunity and challenges for staff, maintaining positive morale, partnering with HR and Business Leads on supporting organizational objectives
  • Cascades information and empowers the team to action
 

Desired Skills & Experience

·        Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Marketing or a related field is preferable

 

·        5+ years of experience with within an agency environment required

 

·        3+ years managerial experience preferred

 

·        Advanced/Cutting Edge knowledge of Google, Amazon, Criteo, and Walmart

 

·        Advanced understanding of accelerating client sales through both paid search and display via retail networks

 

·        Demonstrable experience working on enterprise level eCommerce media accounts with large ($1m+) budgets 

 

·        Proven ability to understand high-level client goals and how they translate into eCommerce strategy when applied via online technologies 

 

·        Polished presence and presentations skills 

 

·        Excellent writing skills with an attention to detail

 

·        Mastery of Microsoft Excel is required

 

·        Working knowledge of Word, and PowerPoint

 

·        Ability to multitask and handle other duties as assigned
