Position Summary

The Technology Operations Associate is responsible for providing 2nd-level operational hardware and software support in a fast-paced business environment for multiple customers. This position requires very strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and problem solving. The individual must be team, process and project oriented, and must be efficient in completing assigned tasks individually or as part of a team. The individual must possess strong technical knowledge in a specific technology area and be able to use that knowledge to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently with minimal supervision. This individual is a source of improvement ideas and consistently documents solutions and systems. There is significant contact with the customer community. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and self-reliant with a desire to learn. 

Key Responsibilities

Issues Management and Resolution:
  • Analyze issues and formulate solutions by utilizing external research when needed
  • Update the customer & service desk with status and resolution
  • Work directly with customers to solve problems
  • Consistently update the ticket tracking and asset tracker system
Systems Administration:
  • Knowledge of IOS and Android Platform for troubleshooting/backing issues
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Deploy telecom orders and track assets
  • Manage international travel requests
  • Strong interpersonal skills with heavy focus on customer service
  • Demonstrate sound written, oral and organizational skills
  • Works effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Adhere to team policies and organizational reporting structures
Resource & Project Management:
  • Complete assigned tasks on time
  • Ability to follow documented commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple constituencies, issues, priorities and goals 
Non-Essential Job functions:
Technology Tracking:
  • Gather knowledge of technology changes through training, conferences, textbooks, journals, case studies, and perform product evaluations
  • Weekends – After Hour Work:
  • Must maintain a flexible schedule and be available to work non-standard business hours upon requestor or as needed
On Call:
  • Must be available via cell phone for after-hours issue resolution and assistance
Local Site travel:
  • This position may involve occasional site visits to clients in various locations

Desired Skills & Experience

Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent program or IT experience required
  • Basic technical certification in field of expertise preferred
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years IT experience
  • Experience working in a heterogeneous technical environment
Additional Skills:
  • Experience in the Advertising and/or Marketing industry preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience delivering IT solutions within a corporate and/or high-volume environment preferred
