Position Summary

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing global digital agency. Reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media, you’ll be working with the Head of Paid Search, Head of Paid Social, Performance Directors, Client Services, Strategy Directors and account leads to deliver cross-channel strategy and activation across Paid Search and Paid Social. You will lead and develop a multi-talented biddable team and be responsible for all Paid activation.

 

The role will also involve using both analytical and creative skills to fulfill a broad range of projects and support client opportunities accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Expertise
  • Ability to establish yourself as the key Digital Media contact, both internally and externally
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to visualise and support recommended approaches
  • Strong understanding of Paid Search and Paid Social are essential, knowledge of Affiliates and Display is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior members of the internal and client teams
  • Contribute to developing new products and ways of working that improve cross-channel results
  • Ability to discuss and be challenged on cross-channel business plans
  • Digital Campaigns / Project Management
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a team
  • Ensure all relevant daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks are fulfilled by the team and that all campaigns meet the targets
  • Help the client and operational teams in preparing performance review presentations
  • Provide regular results analysis and recommendations on relevant projects
  • Apply your analytical and numerical skills to prepare cross-channel forecasts supported by relevant assumptions, trends, and market data
  • Project managing any activity (existing client and new business-related) that requires the involvement of multiple team members
  • Complete timesheets on a regular, minimum weekly basis
  • Meet commitments and complete tasks as agreed and within agreed timeframes
  • Lead the development of short and long term digital strategies for the client
  • Support new business opportunities where appropriate, from collating initial research, trend data and responses, through to chemistry meetings and the pitch itself.

  • Use your personal passion and creativity to help develop intelligent, innovative, and effective digital strategies for your clients
  • Proactively search for new business and growth opportunities for the team
  • Constantly lookout for innovative partners’ product releases that are relevant to your clients and can positively affect their KPIs
  • Proactively engage with the Client Services team on a regular basis to uncover client challenges and propose relevant strategic solutions
  • Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we’re in; establish a presence in the agency; have a voice in meetings
  • Work with an attitude of “it’s up to me to make it happen”

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of digital performance channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, and Affiliates
  • Commercial awareness – understanding how to balance hour and revenue to deliver profitability
  • Commercial Awareness - Ability to produce and manage new business proposals
  • Account Management experience
  • Technical implementation experience and knowledge
  • Ability to balance the need for strategic thinking with the need to deliver and get things done
  • Flawless execution and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
