We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Orion team as a Business Analyst. This opportunity will kick-start your career in media finance and provide a platform to partner with the world’s leading consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and system administrator in all relevant financial systems and how the financials flow from one system to another
  • Create working functional solutions for cross functional teams and
  • recommend updates/create new processes for existing work flows
  • Work with technical teams to maintain system integrity and implement updates
  • Manage and validate data accuracy between Financial Planning system (Longview), G/L system (SAP), and ERP system (Hyperion)
  • Investigate data variances, pinpoint the cause and develop a solution
  • Manage mapping integrity between financial systems
  • Serve as point person for any financial system updates – QA/UAT for Longview software updates
  • Support FP&A FD in leading projects that will help drive system and
  • reporting efficiencies
  • Map out processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop viable solutions
  • Build and test new report/input templates for Longview (Financial
  • Planning System), Hyperion, and SAP
  • Upload Forecasts and Flashes in Longview and Hyperion, ensure accuracy of the data
  • Work with FP&A to update Client Profitability allocations
  • Manage financial reporting dashboards for various levels of leadership and related data repositories
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as directed by FP&A FD and CFO

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Basic understanding of financial statements
  • Basic understanding of macros
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in creating and customizing report writing databases/applications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in writing and developing reports with applicable business systems using tools such as MS Access, PowerBI, and Tableau
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Vizio, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable working with large data sets, pivot tables, and performing v-lookups
  • Comfortable managing databases
  • Experience in SAP, Hyperion, and Longview a plus
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
  • Experience with macros,(VB.NET), SQL/Python,, QA/UAT a plus
  • Able to multitask and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with others in written and verbal form
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent process management and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
