Position Summary

An exciting opportunity to join the vibrant J3 and UM team and assist with the co-ordination of a portfolio of brands, the successful candidate is to support in managing the day to day running of J&J, Mattel and Beauty Pie.

You will perform a varied role in supporting the Comms manager in the planning and delivery of strategic campaigns across multiple markets. This will span a variety of tasks from audience understanding, campaign execution all the way to finance and administration duties.

The role is ideal for someone who is eager to get into the world of media and learn everything digital and communications from the ground up. 



Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and delivery of media planning for J&J, Mattel and Beauty Pie
  • Integrating & collaborating with the different business units within IPG, such as Reprise and Matterkind to ensure day to day activity is running smoothly.
  • Assisting with the co-ordination and execution of campaigns across Ireland. Collaborate with local media planners in each market to deliver campaigns on time and on brief. 
  • Delivering campaign learnings and assist in the preparation of competitive insight where relevant.
  • Helping the Comms manager to test ideas and scale across campaigns where relevant.  
  • Understanding the importance of brilliant basics and how client servicing is key to building strong relationships with clients. These brilliant basics include replying to client emails within a timely manner, sense checking your work, dressing appropriately and keeping up with financial reconciliations.
  • Following processes and procedures put in place for effective delivery of campaigns, performance reports and finance reconciliations to meet client expectations.
  • Scheduling client status meetings and maintain up to date status document
  • Processing campaign bookings
  • Maintaining overall reporting and post campaign evaluation process for key brands 
  • Facilitating econometric data collection
  • Performing quality control on all key client output and curate presentations
  • Gaining a great understanding Nordic market landscapes.
  • Understanding the billing and revenue on your clients business and proactively bring to the attention of thee leadership team monthly fluctuations, opportunities and threats
  • Identifying opportunities and build strategic recommendation alongside specialist business units to grow revenue within your group

  • Competent in Excel, PPT, Word and Outlook.

  • Basic knowledge of some key online media channels would be beneficial – Social, PPC & Display
