Position Summary
Initiative is a global media agency looking for a Director, Data Architecture to foster cross-functional team relationships to design & implement automated solutions. This person will lead a team of engineers and business analysts in developing Initiative’s standard global reporting suite to fuel interactive digital media dashboards for all Initiative clients
Key Responsibilities
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or above in: Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related field. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience are a bonus Industry:
- 5+ years' experience working in the engineering discipline within the data infrastructure domain
- 3+ years' of experience in data specific function
- 2+ years' experience managing people
- 2+ years' experience with media analytics platforms / ad tech
Knowledge of AWS services, open-source technologies, and industry best practices * Awareness of consumer privacy regulations and their impact on technology design * Implementation of data pipelines - streaming and batch integrations - using tools/frameworks such as Lambda, Google Cloud DataFlow and Spark Streaming * Hands-on AWS cloud data experience * Prior experience working with ETLs, Python, sSQL and excel are a must
