Position Summary

 

This role is part of the Initiative Junior (dedicated LEGO) team based in London. As part of the Client Advice & Management (CAM) team, you will work as part of a dedicated four person team who act as both a business partner to LEGO and an internal leader to inspire, motivate and drive our teams to deliver the highest quality work across a full spectrum of communication disciplines. 


As an Executive, you will support in the effective day-to-day running of the LEGO account (incl. being aware of the day-to-day projects and proactively sharing relevant information with team members). This is a pivotal role in the Global team, providing project support to both client and agency teams. You will develop your knowledge of the global media landscape and network operations within the media agency. This role is a highly rewarding role, you will be part of a 20+ Global LEGO Team, who are a valued strategic partner to LEGO. There will be opportunity to work on several exciting projects that are embedded with the LEGO values of fun and creativity.


Key Responsibilities

Internal Operations

  • Develop effective working relationships with Global team
  • Maintain the global online content hub/SharePoint (internal and client-facing)
  • Support the CAM team in producing internal network Newsletters and Collaboration sessions & external client facing Newsletters and Presentations (content sourcing/ production, design & formatting, proof-reading and presentation skills)
  • Responsible for keeping the internal database of the Initiative Junior network up to date
  • Support and proactively help improve day-to-day operations and processes
  • Support the CAM team in ad hoc requests
  • Support the CAM team on onboarding process and ensuring all new joiners have signed NDAs
  • Coordinate meetings for the Global team and record actions/minutes for status meetings

Network Coordination

  • Support the Global divisions on requests to collaborate with local markets
  • Develop strong relationships with individuals across the network
  • Provide timely response to any ad hoc local market requests
  • Consolidate findings for local market requests using Excel or PowerPoint where required
  • Work with the Global CAM team where required to support on global communication workstreams (including internal and external newsletters, and internal network presentations)  
  • Be responsive to agency teams within the Initiative Junior network to support on ad hoc emails or requests
  • Effectively manage internal expectations

Global Campaign Support (ad hoc)

  • Deliver high quality reporting and analysis for global brand campaigns, with the support of the Global CAM Manager using Excel
  • Collate and consolidate local market media plans & performance reports
  • Support on ad-hoc requests from Global Brand team

  • A self starter, pro-active and enthusiastic, willing and able to take ownership of projects and demonstrate drive and ambition 
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Microsoft Excel experience (formatting)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Passion for working within the media industry 
  • Previous experience working in a media agency/owner role or placement (preferred but not essential)
