Position Summary

We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Orion Client finance team as a Financial Analyst. This role will report into the Associate Director, Finance and support the team across an extensive spectrum of commercial, operational, forecasting, accounting and ad hoc deliverables. This opportunity will afford the right individual a wide range of responsibilities and exposure to develop skills in media finance while being part of a team and organization that is looking to expand into new products and areas of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly/quarter journal entries
  • Review and provide variance commentary on a monthly basis
  • Analyze trends and provide forecasting support
  • Work with the billing team to ensure invoices and credit memos issued correctly
  • Review accounts receivable report to ensure timely payment of client invoices
  • Support new client onboarding
  • Assist in developing staff plans and fee structures for new and existing clients
  • Track and analyze work utilization to agreed client plans
  • Perform ad hoc analysis when required
  • Create and update process docs
  • Conduct regular meetings with client strategy team

Desired Skills & Experience

Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience within a financial budgeting and/or accounting function, is desirable not essential
  • Media/agency experience preferred

Skills:

  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, possesses sense of urgency, thrives on accomplishing tasks accurately and efficiently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi task, high level of integrity, quick learner, a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with MS Office products such as Advanced Excel, Power Point, and Word
