Position Summary

Mediabrands is seeking a Freelance Recruiter to focus on recruitment nationally. The Talent Acquisition team is a fast-paced, highly motivated group of professionals focused on delivering strategic talent pipelines and enriched candidate experiences, delivering exceptional talent to the business and ensuring our mission of being the most dynamic marketing communications company in the world is a reality. As a Freelance Recruiter, you will act as a talent pipeline builder, identifying and recruiting talent across all Mediabrands agencies. This role can be remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to determine essential position requirements
  • Constant interaction with potential candidates on professional networks, social media, industry partners for candidate referrals and pipeline development
  • Coaching new and current team members on sourcing techniques and updates
  • Crafting and sending compelling recruitment emails
  • Identifying and screening potential candidates, active or passive, for current openings or pipelines
  • Source, qualify and deliver highly qualified prospects for all areas of the company
  • Support pipeline activity with a focus on diverse representation and data integrity
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to provide guidance, expertise, and insights to source, identify and attract the best talent
  • Track and analyze metrics and report on hiring progress, pipeline health and industry trends
  • Contribute to key initiatives and projects with internal teams that will continuously improve and scale MB’s recruiting efforts
  • Proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders, directly or with the recruiters
  • Develop deep knowledge of Mediabrands as a whole, our Values and our emerging business needs, various agency cultures and initiatives
  • Deliver against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress to continue moving the needle in our hyper-growth environment

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Advertising, Media, or a related professional field, or at minimum a strong knowledge of media agency competitors and the media/advertising/digital marketing space
  • Curious and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, expert in engaging highly-qualified potential candidates, inactive as well as active
  • Best practice recruitment expertise with solid knowledge of the latest talent acquisition tools, legal regulations, and market trends
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task and produce high volume pipelines under tight deadlines
  • Ability to create and provide a “best in class” candidate experience
  • Proven sourcing expertise including knowledge and experience with recruitment/sales tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/TRMs, Email Hunter, ATS, social media networking
