Position Summary

The Mediabrands Shared Services team is a centralized unit that is based in Leeds and supports our planning & buying teams out of London. This role is responsible for defining and implementing standards and processes across our UK business. This team will be responsible for ensuring delivery excellence by being a central hub for booking delivery and financial reconciliation. You will be leading a team that delivers for all SBUs across our Mediabrands network, being a focal point for working with multi-faceted teams; from Account Management to Buying teams to Finance. While the core of your role will be ensuring your team deliver media bookings on our Mediaocean booking platform through to financial reconciliation. Your department will be the engine room of the Mediabrands network, ensuring consistent quality in the process.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail with good organisational and management skills. This person will thrive in building teams with a strong service mentality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help build an industry-leading Shared Services Team.
  • Set and sustain key defined processes and ensure compliance/quality control across the group.
  • Act as the Mediaocean subject matter expert and drive the adoption of new features and functions.
  • Constantly look at new methods to drive automation (RBA – Robotic Process Automation) and further enhancements across the process.
  • Ensure bookings go onto the system in a timely & accurate manner through agreed SLAs.
  • Recruit and manage the team (circa 20 FTEs).
  • Act as the point of escalation if any issues arise.
  • Work with our support team in Mumbai India and help define the split of responsibilities across the two teams.

Desired Skills & Experience

Your Experience:
  • Expertise with standard digital media operational systems & tools including Mediaocean.
  • Managed and led scaled teams.
  • Experience in liaising with a broad range of teams as, media owners/vendors, tech 3rd parties & finance counterparts.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, conscientious, with the ability to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable process improvement delivery.
Your Skills:
  • Proven track record in driving wider team delivery, confronting issues, barriers, and lack of delivery/performance whilst maintaining positive team culture and reinforcing team morale.
  • Ability to engage key senior stakeholders and also speak the language of the business
  • Strong communicator and a natural diplomat.
  • Must have excellent time management skills, being able to effectively prioritise and delegate against deadlines.
