We are currently looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Manager to provide proactive, professional, and client-focused recruitment across all agencies in the Mediabrands and Kinesso Canada network, focused on French and English roles, primarily across Montreal and Toronto.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading end to end recruitment for a variety of media roles in French and English.  This role will partner collaboratively with various stakeholders to inform and contribute to meaningful candidate and hiring manager engagement to help differentiate us in the attraction of high performance talent to fulfil our mission of being an employer of choice.

The ideal candidate will be an engaging, entrepreneurial Recruitment Professional with a passion for finding and placing exceptional talent. You enjoy being a brand ambassador and have a practical, solutions-oriented mindset, desire for continuous learning and creative problem-solving approach.   This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, inclusive and experienced Talent Acquisition team and is looking to take the next step as a recruitment expert in a locally mid-sized, globally-led matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides end-to-end talent acquisition management with a diversity, equity and inclusion lens – from sourcing to interviewing to offer
  • Proactively builds and maintains a consistent pipeline of strong potential candidates for key roles
  • Coaches hiring managers on the talent acquisition process and recruitment and selection best practices
  • Plays a lead role in our robust internship program (The Residency) and builds positive relationships with relevant post-secondary programs
  • Ensures that hiring processes comply with legal requirements and Company guidelines
  • Provides advice and assistance to managers in the development of job descriptions and guidance on appropriate salary ranges in collaboration with HRBPs and Total Rewards Manager
  • Encourages internal mobility for employee growth within the Mediabrands and Kinesso Canada network
  • Supports promotion of the internal referral reward program
  • Assists with training on recruitment practices and legal framework for hiring managers on an ongoing basis
  • Attends relevant industry networking and campus recruitment events to promote Mediabrands and Kinesso’s profile as an employer of choice
  • Supports various special projects

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in French and English, verbal and written communication, is essential
  • Proven track record of full-cycle talent acquisition experience
  • Proactive, client-focused, and responsive
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; you’re detail-oriented and have proven capability in leading multiple open roles to offer within an efficient timeframe; managing approximately 10 – 15 permanent, full-time roles at a time  
  • Expert relationship builder and communicator, you build trust with candidates, hiring managers and peers; confidentiality and integrity are the cornerstones of how you operate
  • Demonstrated ability to flex your influencing, negotiation and communication style to suit various audiences/stakeholders 
  • Social media and technical savvy, with experience using various social media applications (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Instagram, Facebook, applicant tracking system) to communicate with and source potential candidates
  • Aptitude for creative and collaborative solutions to address talent acquisition-related challenges
  • Life-long learner; you keep up to date on recruitment practices, your relevant industry, and market trends
  • Agility and adaptability are part of your DNA. You’re comfortable shifting gears and priorities as the situation dictates
