Position Summary

The Director of Corporate Communications & Marketing is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all marketing communications internally across Initiative US. This role will support the Head of Marketing in all US activations of external public relations, as well as working on new product positioning.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage corporate communications function and how it ladders up into overall Global Marketing Plan – inclusive of PR plan, communications calendar, press releases, speakers bureau, and content development and social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and others

·       Develop and oversee corporate communication assets within the US, including press releases, talking points, scripts, presentations, Q&As, briefing documents and fact sheets that create awareness and establish our position

·       Develop a plan for managing corporate internal documentation and communication

·       Execute internal and external live events aligned with our culture initiatives and diversity council across the US

·       Keep current on relevant industry issues that could impact our business, position or messaging. Communicate updates to senior management

·       Lead and coordinate industry award submissions for the US Market

·       Oversee content and execution for quarterly videos between Marketing, Culture & Experience teams

·       Work with Head of Marketing to ensure use of unified global branding is executed across the US Market

·       Develop and execute comprehensive PR plans and building a trusted relationship with trade publications

Desired Skills & Experience

·       4-6 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing and other broad range of marketing and business-related roles. Exposure and holistic understanding of various media strategies and technologies is preferred.

·       Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities including social media

·       Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with particular emphasis on online media, ideally including programmatic media, paid search, mobile media and strategy, social media and strategy, performance marketing, strategy, analytics, technology, and new emerging trends

·       Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or business related field is preferred

·       Must have a strong writing background and expert experience with the development of press releases, case studies, and white papers

·       Outstanding editing skills in PowerPoint and Word

·       High-energy and team-oriented

·       Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
