Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain media partner relationships, negotiate pricing that reflects clients’ objectives and efficiencies
  • Manage stewardships of media buys
  • Run research reports to analyze data and track media results
  • Ensure buying guidelines are met
  • Reconcile discrepancies and monitor monthly deadlines
  • Train, mentor and oversee the Assistant Negotiator
  • Provide POV’s on advertising/media trends and publish recaps
  • Assist in managing added value execution, including solicitation from vendors, analysis of value

Desired Skills & Experience

Work Experience:

  • 2-3+ years of buying or media sales experience 

 

Skills:

  • Solid negotiating skills and experience collaborating with Strategy/Planning teams
  • Proven problem solving ability
  • Able to work as part of a team in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Knowledgeable in media math
  • Proficient with MBox or equivalent Inventory Management system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills   
  • Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and integrity as well as positive interpersonal skills
