Position Summary

At Orion, we are responsible for delivering value to our clients by leveraging relationships with our media partners across all media types. Our unique offering provides our clients with effective media saving solutions for their business needs. The Operations Manager is a key role working to support the team, taking a focus on the systems, tools and procedures at the core of the business. This position within a fast-paced environment requires the candidate to be confident, self-reliant, innovative and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support with monthly reporting and forecasting across the business
  • Supporting quarterly financing revisions with necessary reports
  • Liaise with finance to assist with monthly reporting and actualising revenue
  • Documenting and improving efficiencies of current procedures
  • Identifying and implementing new systems, tools or processes where required
  • Streamlining processes across systems (Excel, DDS, Prisma etc) suggesting & minimising manual inputting where possible.
  • Talk to different markets and understand their processes and best practices
  • Track and participate in key milestone reviews on assigned engagements.
  • Review new technologies, organize product trials, coordinate technology design partnerships and case studies
  • Ensuring staff working on processes are happy and operating efficiently
  • Assisting and collating monthly client saving reports
  • Create and maintain tracking documents for digital business 
  • Ownership of reporting and forecasting for digital business 
  • Liaising with relevant business units to ensure reporting requirements are met for digital requirements 
  • Supporting the Managing Director and leadership team’s vision and operating principles

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail 
  • Self-starter, inquisitive, self-motivated, can deliver to tight deadlines
  • Extremely competent in Microsoft Office applications, strong Excel is a must – including pivot tables and analysing large data sets
  • Previous experience of media/marketing; roles in growth development, operations, digital marketing, or analytics is a plus
  • Knowledge of media and agency operations, as well as the full spectrum of media planning and buying functions and supporting software, is preferred

  • Understanding of basic business functions 
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels
