Key Responsibilities

This senior role is a fantastic opportunity to lead search strategy and activation for one of the world’s biggest and most exciting brands. As Group Account Director for Paid Search, you will provide strategic direction and oversight across all significant search channels to drive eCommerce growth through Nike’s retail site and app. You will also form a senior partnership with your client at a strategic level to ensure both strong relationships, account development and high performance. Within the agency, this requires the management of team resources to ensure the delivery of digital solutions, so that the clients' needs are met on time, within budget, and with the highest service standards. You will also oversee the quality of your team’s work, career development and training needs.
  • Develop solid relationships and partner with the Nike Search team and senior agency stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Nike team on achieving commercial goals and increasing efficiency from Paid Search campaigns.
  • Design and deliver innovative and ambitious commercial solutions within Search.
  • Lead the delivery of Paid Search and eCommerce services in your team, ensuring a high quality of work that adheres to best practices and meets client expectations.
  • Manage your direct reports, including their development and training needs.
  • Empower the team to deliver the business, best practices and innovation in collaboration with the Nike Search team.
  • Lead and build critical essential client communications and deliverables, e.g.QBRs, campaign reviews and meetings.
  • Align strategy and ensure client needs are met with other teams across Reprise, including other channels, new business and client services.
  • Develop imaginative, innovative and practical ideas and process improvements.
  • Contribute your ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we’re in; establish a presence in the agency.
  • Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in search marketing by sharing knowledge, new platforms and industry developments.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • In-depth Paid Search experience with experience in Paid Search, including management of a large retail brand. 
  • A proven track record of implementing innovative marketing and data-informed strategies.
  • Strong team management skills, ideally a medium-sized team (8+ team members).
  • Excellent leadership skills that are applicable across the internal Paid Search, client and agency partners.
  • Experience managing Paid Search campaigns across multi-account MCCs in Google, Bing and Yandex, preferably across multiple markets.
  • Managed large budgets ($10M+) and delivered high performance for big brands.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in eCommerce platforms(Google Shopping, Merchant Centre, Feed management platforms).
  • Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in search marketing, with thought leadership and innovation in Search for retail and business.
  • Convincingly communicate effectively at all levels, both up and down, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, and building partnerships.
  • Take responsibility for accounts from top to bottom: performance, people, product and processes.
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment and resolve client issues.
  • Excellent excel and data management skills.
  • Competent and keen presenter with strong PowerPoint / Keynote skills.
  • ‘Hands-on’ approach to operations: Plans, assigns and directs work, time, material, and people.
