Position Summary

The Strategy team for Reprise UK&I comprises strategic leads across the crafts of Experience (E), Media (M) and Content (C). Each Performance Strategy Director leads on their crafts, playing to their strengths across the three. In your role as Performance Strategy Director, you will be tasked with leading and evangelising on your craft, while developing a robust understanding of the other crafts, to be able to provide holistic leadership and direction across the group. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the best possible standard of strategic contribution to the team, leading to successful outcomes with the Client Success and Business Development teams.  
  • Help grow and promote the team’s value, impact, and positive culture across the Reprise UK&I business and at an EMEA & Global level.  
  • Contribute your expertise and craft experience to the team. The Strategy Craft  
  • Lead strategy across a portfolio of our clients, working closely with the Client Success Directors to ensure our strategy remains relevant and best in class across your client list.  
  • Support client retention and client growth, working hand in hand with the Client Success lead on your client list. • Lead the strategy across new business processes, be that initial meetings, RFPs, or pitches through direct, red (UM), blue (INI) and wider IPG group sales routes.  
  • Work closely with other members of the strategy team, research and insights and EMC craft teams to pull in the right resource for client and new business work.
  • Direct our research and insights teams towards the work required on all your projects to build clarity on the market and the target audiences.  
  • Develop smart segmentation and positioning for the strategy  
  • Brief and work with Media craft teams and refine into holistic strategic direction across new business and client briefs.  
  • Use our proprietary tools, best in class 3rd party platforms and our global operating system – FLOW- to frame the strategy and the key levers and triggers we will use.  
  • Ensure our strategies work closely and align to wider agency strategy on all channel accounts or pitches.  
  • Develop your understanding and commitment to the Experience and Content crafts, with a view to gaining a broader strategic remit. 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A clearly effective leader, with evidence of building teams and processes for high impact results  
  • Ability to cut through the data to deliver clear, strategic executive summaries with gravitas and impact  
  • Comfortable and experienced with delivering and defending strategy to a C-suite audience, able to read the room and tailor your approach accordingly  
  • Confident in speaking up and taking ownership to drive change, inspiring trust and encouraging others to do the same  
  • Ability to tailor briefs and define tasks for more junior members of the team to deliver results, making time to offer support to those that need it  
  • On the front foot, you seek out ways for your team to work cross-functionally with other teams  
  • A natural role model, focused on what’s important for the future of the business  
  • Your strong commercial acumen underpinning all strategic and creative motivations
