Position Summary

The hybrid role of marketing graphic designer/ presentation specialist will have the opportunity to shape the brand identity and visual representation of two agencies. This energetic individual will work collaboratively with the leadership, business development and services teams to design on-brand and on-strategy digital presentation and print assets for a broad range of outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, produce, and update brand collateral across multiple channels. Ensure content accuracy and appropriateness, maintain brand adherence and consistency in tone/voice, and meet quality standards and expectations
  • Manage digital and print projects end-to-end, including reviewing, editing and finalizing while working under tight schedules. Complete follow-up actions in a timely manner, and meet targeted deadlines
  • Create easy to understand charts, graphs, and diagrams for slides, web and print media. Use graphic design to illustrate technical knowledge
  • Provide design support for internal communications, digital and social media platforms and events
  • Edit video content for internal communications
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of existing design assets. Revise and improve based on feedback and business/industry changes
  • Design and develop print material with proper size, bleeds, margins, layouts and mechanicals required for production
  • Work independently, cross-functionally, and within teams
  • Work quickly with the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve problems with minimal supervision
  • Be flexible and adapt easily to shifting requirements and needs as the Orion service delivery model continues to evolve
  • Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, and develop alliances with exemplary performers and content experts
  • Proactively seek answers when information or direction is unclear. Undertake research, where appropriate, to self-educate on business and industry

Desired Skills & Experience

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a graphic designer
  • Experience working in a high priority agency environment preferred but not required
  • Experience shooting and editing short videos a strong plus


  • Advanced knowledge and skills with the Adobe CC suite, MS Office applications, iWork software – PowerPoint and Keynote are essential with special emphasis on Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Word
  • Skilled with presentation storytelling to help stakeholders reach their business objectives
  • Ability to design, draw, and modify graphic illustrations to translate concepts. Can convert hand-drawn sketches, complex and busy diagrams, and written content into clean graphics and images for presentation
  • Can use different manipulation and creation tools, photo correction techniques, effects and workflow tools to design and alter images
  • Strong design and branding sensibility with the ability to transform basic presentations into visually strong and dynamic presentations. Can adapt to a variety of branding aesthetics
  • Demonstrated understanding of layout, color, typography
  • Familiar with commonly used vector art media and commercially available graphics packages
  • Above average writing and editing skills (can proof text beyond spell check), and above average verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify all relevant stakeholders and gather all necessary information needed for design projects
  • High degree of business acumen. Can fully understand business objectives of presentation projects with the ability to improve, refine, and execute against them
  • Familiarity of new design ideas, innovative concepts and design trends. Ability to articulate and present new ideas and creative treatments that align with present-day design approaches
