Position Summary

As Project Manager, Client Advice & Management, you are responsible for resource management across a multi-discipline media delivery team, ensuring the timely management of task delivery across all teams involved within the media delivery process.

Your primary client will be Deliveroo, Deliveroo is an award-winning delivery service founded in 2013 by William Shu and Greg Orlowski. Deliveroo works with over 140,000 best-loved restaurants and grocery partners, as well as 150,000 riders to provide the best food delivery experience in the world.  Working in tandem with the Global team, you will be responsible for coordinating upwards of 15 campaigns per year across both brand and hyperlocal campaigns.

In this role, you are responsible for the setting up and management of project delivery timelines, managing internal resource, communicating to clients the current workload of the teams and subsequent impact to any project deliveries. You will work closely with the Executive, Associate Director and Group Director on the account, working with them to understand the business priorities of clients and translating those goals into actionable deliverables for the extended team you work with.  You will work with people from a variety of different backgrounds, inclusive of media planners, partnerships specialists, digital experts, audience insight researchers and finance teams to deliverable engaging yet complex projects for clients.  You are able to work with senior client leaders and media agency co-workers to assess the requirements for any project and outline the correct approach to delivering activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining project status reports and other project documentation as needed.
  • Facilitate effective communication between teams.
  • Run reoccurring project statuses for internal teams.
  • Function as a key part of any project team, ensuring all team members have the information necessary to develop great work.
  • Provides escalation of challenges to ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Integrate with Deliveroo in-house channel teams and creative agency partners
  • Delegate tasks on projects to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Management of agency evaluation quarterly reviews.
  • Streamline communication between internal team members.
  • Support teams with set up, integration, and maintenance of projects and campaigns; develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Assists in setting up new teams in project management systems.
  • Customize solutions & templates to align with client specific elements.
  • Attends weekly client status meetings & supports project updates as needed.
  • 1:1 sessions with team members who need addition training or assistance.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a marketing agency, media or client-serving environment.
  • College or University degree in Business, Marketing or STEM field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Good understanding of various project management methodologies.
  • Can quickly learn new project management tools as required; experience in project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheets, or MS Project is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and to multitask with attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with appropriate discretion.
  • Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects, priorities, and tasks at once.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
