Position Summary

This role will be heading up our planning team that works with UM clients including AMEX, Spotify, and more. The Business Director will be working with senior management to drive growth whilst maintaining our excellent agency service.

You will need to build a strong relationship with our established team including an Account Director, Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, and Account Executive. As a Business Director at Rapport, you will report to our Head of Planning whilst also having a close relationship with our Head of Trading, Insight & Impact.

Leading a team of 5, the Business Directors' main role will be managing our agency relationship, ensuring the team is well structured and resourced whilst also managing upwards within Rapport in order to deliver on our growth targets. This person will need to provide leadership to other members of the team and ensure high-quality service is always provided to clients. We require an individual who is ambitious, driven, and passionate about business development.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements:
  • Experience and knowledge in growing agency/client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge around the role of OOH and why clients would invest.
  • Take responsibility for client work e.g. attending agency/client briefings, taking ownership of briefs, managing client demands & expectations etc.
  • Ability to work on bigger, more complex client briefs.
  • Be able to manage and develop junior members of the team.
  • Able to clearly articulate the role of planning tools.
  • Be able to lead New Business pitches.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide a business plan and forecasts for your agency patch.
  • Manage the agency relationship at a senior level.
  • Day-to-day management of the team e.g. understanding & helping to manage workflow.
  • Become a guide for the junior members of the team and mentor their development.
  • Run the appraisal process for key reports.
  • Putting together detailed media plans.
  • Assisting senior management as required.
