Position Summary

The Regional Manager of Infrastructure & Operations primary responsibilities include the successful operation of the global SOX, ISO27k and Internal Audit programs across Mediabrands entities, specifically oversee and ensure the availability & efficient operation of the IT infrastructure across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region within IPG Mediabrands whilst also ensuring it aligns with the business objectives of Mediabrands. This person, together with the IT Director & Global Operations Director, is responsible for guiding the strategy and architectural plan for multiple areas of IT operations that include setting priorities, standards and procedures that support the global strategy. This individual is expected to develop a competent understanding of all Mediabrands & IPG enterprise processes and maintains compliance & governance in line with them. This person is driven to find technology solutions to improve multiple portions of the operational environment and provide comprehensive recommendations to senior management, both IT and non-IT. The individual, together with the IT Director, is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and implementing proper technology solutions to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for maintaining SOX, ISO27k & Internal audit compliance including on site audits and detailed guidance to local sites when required

·        Execute & support long-range strategic plans for technology and systems

·        Management & planning of APAC capital budget

·        Responsible for the regional (APAC) IPG IT chargeback process

·        Act as escalation point as necessary for IT and Business

·        Drive completion of quality project deliverables, within time and budget

·        Manage local vendor relationships

·        Manage crisis requiring analysts from multiple teams to resolve

·        Develop & manage key relationships within Mediabrands, IPG IT/sister agencies

·        Drive the federated support model by identifying synergies across agencies in local markets

·        Maintain/improve service delivery & effectiveness of IT to the business

·        Standardize technology solutions across markets & optimize existing investment

·        Utilize effective comms methods with stakeholders as an enabler for change

·        Align corporate application support to business requirements

·        Partner with local markets to solve unique technical problems

Desired Skills & Experience

Any formal audit/security qualifications a strong plus (CISSP, CISA, CISM)

·        Graduate / BSc in science / engineering / computing preferred

·        Proficiency in ITIL & ITSM

·        Strong leadership skills

·        Ability to build cross functional & operational relationships regionally/globally

·        Strong business & financial acumen

·        Ability to influence and deliver positive business outcomes to lift performance

·        Ability to present & communicate ideas in business & user friendly context

·        Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning & development including policy development

·        Proven experience of deploying large scale infrastructure projects (server deployments, Network equipment upgrades, major platform OS migrations etc)

·        Technical knowledge of current & changing trends in IT infrastructure & telephony including network & PC operating systems, hardware and protocols

·        Intermediate/advanced knowledge of cloud computing technologies (SaaS, IaaS, etc.)

·        Microsoft Azure certification preferred

·        Ability to drive business strategy & compliance into the organization

·        Strong attention to detail & ability to work though complexity in an analytical and methodical manner
