Position Summary

The role of the Associate, Billing is to support the paid media teams with billing and reconciliation initiatives. The Associate will be primarily responsible for the day to day management of ensuring the integrity and accuracy of client media investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain client records, media approval documentation, and media purchase contracts. 
• Assist paid media teams with Prisma inputting. 
• Perform budget control reports to monitor client budgets vs media commitments. 
• Cross check invoice with platforms to ensure accuracy. 
• Work with team to actualize any rolling budgets month over month. 
• Liaison with internal billing departments. 
• Accurately code, upload, and reconcile media budgets. 
• Clear billing discrepancies or queries in a timely manner. 
• Provide monthly budget confirmations to the finance team. 
• Regularly update paid media teams on state of accounts.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience – University/College degree in accounting, finance, business analytics preferred. 
• Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively. 
• Solid understanding of media planning & buying processes an asset. 
• Superior analytical skills and strong problem-solving skills. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization. 
• Has initiative and is self-motivated. 
• Proactive approach to problem solving and assisting the team. 
• Ability to work well and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
• Advanced proficiency in Excel. 
• Previous experience with Prisma or similar tool an asset.
