Position Summary

The successful candidate will maintain the day-to-day operations of our dashboard for one of our key clients. A central database, which ingests data from several platforms across the media ecosystem, is the main source for visualisation through Tableau. This system has a global network of developers and analysts growing the solution, which you will be a part of.

The day-to-day job is to ensure the dashboard is updated in accordance with the set reporting cadence, clean data where required and diagnose any issues in the data workflows and develop solutions to these issues. In addition to this, our clients often need customisations to our standard dashboard offering. Supported by the team, you will help develop and implement these enhancements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Extraction and analysis of data sets from the database using SQL
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
  • Be responsible for the creation, maintenance and customisation of user-friendly Tableau dashboards, allowing them to make better data-driven decisions
  • Ability to undertake a variety of activities with a substantial degree of personal responsibility and autonomy
  • The ability to support multiple projects, as well as meet time constraints and expectations
  • Contribution to the ongoing development of data systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with minimal supervision
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • You will form close relationships with other Analysts both on and offshore and will be expected to be present on client calls to answer technical questions as they arise

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with developing reports and visualisations in Tableau
  • Experience with programming languages such as python would be a plus
  • Experience in data analysis and data manipulation (ETL)
  • Strong communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset
