Position Summary

As a Senior Analyst, you will work directly with the Head of Analytics, Client Group Leaders and Planners to deliver innovative econometric solutions to identify actionable insights that will support the optimisation of clients’ planning and media mix.

A combination of data-savvy and excellent consultation skills is core to this role. Understanding the client challenge and designing sophisticated analytical models to meet them will be key to success. This position requires energy, a dedication to innovation, the ability to challenge the status quo, confidence with senior business leads and excellent project & time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with account leaders to define econometrics solutions for clients
  • Manage the delivery of econometrics/analytics projects
  • Enhance the econometrics capabilities of the analytics team through training and mentorship
  • Ensure excellent client service as standard
  • Ensure that the team’s output is technically excellent, visually brilliant and easy to understand
  • Run exploratory workshops that get to the heart of all stakeholder’s objectives
  • Work with regional hubs to localize global solutions where appropriate
  • Promote knowledge sharing across UM and openly share ideas across markets
  • Be a GDPR champion

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience manipulating & analysing large data sets to understand clients' businesses across multiple dimensions (sales, brand equity, search interest, website visits, social media, advertising activity)
  • Proficient in statistical analytics software (preferably R or Python)
  • Understanding of modeling techniques including Regression, Exponential Smoothing, ARIMA, Decision Tree, Random Forest Etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Brilliant client servicing
  • Confident presenter of analytical findings
  • Works well with senior business decision makers
  • Strong knowledge of the media ecosystem
  • Understanding of European data governance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, readily share ideas & knowledge
  • Able to simplify the complex
  • Intellectual curiosity and confident project lead
  • Consistently meets and manages deadlines
  • Works well under pressure
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
  • Ideally with a degree-level education in a STEM discipline
