Position Summary

The Mediabrands Infrastructure team is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Associate. This is a highly skilled position that requires a knowledge of on-prem and cloud-based solutions. The individual should have effective communication and organizational skills with a focus on customer service and problem solving. This includes the importance of using good judgment about standardization of environments, excellent problem-solving skills along with project planning and project lead experience to completion of projects within timelines. Additionally, this individual should be a source for improving ideas and be capable of documenting solutions and systems. Interaction with multiple project teams is paramount to the success of the candidate. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Mediabrands’ AWS configuration and infrastructure 
  • Contributes to the design, build and maintenance of modern cloud platforms that support agile teams 
  • Supply reliable, predictable deployment and maintenance of distributed systems adhering to security best practices 
  • Experience with PowerShell, Automation tools and Low-Code Programing 
  • Coordinate with internal and external Data and DevOps teams 
  • SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) & ISO (International Standards Organization) 27001 control management 
  • Perform installation and configuration of software including operating systems, patches, and 3rd party products across the Windows server platforms 
  • Participate or lead various IT projects 
  • Recommend and devise implementation strategies for products that will enhance and support business objectives

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, certifications, or equivalent experience (6+ years in IT Infrastructure) 
  • Experience building and running cloud-based systems (AWS preferred) 
  • Cloud certifications a major plus 
  • Ability to complete tasks/projects within timeframes assigned 
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail  
  • Experience with Managing of SaaS Applications and Services 
  • Knowledge of Azure and GCP services 
  • Document and adhere to all departmental standards, processes, and enterprise policies 
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and basic project management skills 
  • Manage multiple constituencies, issues, priorities, and goals 
  • Datacenter management
