Position Summary

This role is responsible for analysing log level data to create consistent reporting with the intent of measuring success of implemented SPO tactics and create a readable data output to enhance UM optimisation’s intel and super charge advertisers’ reporting. The opportunity also exists to learn and work alongside our leading data and partnerships specialists, supporting the partnerships team in demonstrating the success that curating private inventory has on advertisers’ KPIs and performance. As well as leveraging data science to identify suitable inventory choices based on specific advertisers’ main metrics.

Key Responsibilities

 Analyse log level data to create consistent reporting outputs with the intent of measuring success of SPO tactics and digital advertising campaigns.
- Support the partnerships team in showing the success that curating private inventory has on KPIs and performance vs standard campaign activation
- Provide data hygiene checks and report any inconsistences to data engineering teams.
- Analyse macro trends and their correlation to campaign metrics
- Ability to work with numerous data sources such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, flat files etc.
- Develop tailored measurement frameworks across multiple KPIs and performance metrics
- Reporting and/or data visualization of key metrics
- Lead / execute analytical approaches, including developing / training / optimising machine learning models and/or other forms of analytical modelling
- Acquire, cleanse, transform and verify data from first, second, and third-party data sources.
- Interpret data, analyse results, and identify trends using statistical techniques and provide ongoing insights/measurement reports.
- Manage the execution and keep track of all scheduled project tasks. Investigate any issues and escalate to Head of Data Science if deadlines are at risk of delay.
- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to collaborate on data infrastructure and process.
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

Desired Skills & Experience

- 5+ years proven experience as a data analyst/scientist in a commercial environment.
- Experience using statistical programming languages, libraries, or packages for analysing large datasets: R, Python, SPSS etc.
- Experience with large data sets, specifically web traffic (clickstream)
- Experience with data interrogation, manipulation and extraction using SQL/R/Python applied to large databases.
- Experience with Media Analytics desirable.
- Experience visualising, presenting data and building dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary Range between $90,000 & $100,000 inclusive of superannuation.
