Position Summary

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Designer to lead the development and execution of Mediabrands internal and external creative projects. You will be the brand gatekeeper, responsible for knowing our look inside and out while ensuring that all assets you create are of the highest quality and look pixel perfect. Strategic thinking is key to the role. You can professionally defend your creative ideas in a room while bringing your peers and senior leaders along with you in the design journey. At the same time, you also are a team player and able to take and implement feedback from multiple stakeholders at one time.


You will report to the Mediabrands Design Director and work closely with senior executives to help bring their ideas to life through thought leadership, design templates, digital and print assets, branding and identity systems, experiential/physical spaces, event collateral, logo exploration, and development of external and internal presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with copywriters and the Design Director to generate breakthrough concepts that exceed the requirements of the creative brief
  • Establish and develop design solutions in accordance with brand guidelines, concepts, copy, and technical requirements or specifications
  • Assist other team members in meeting deadlines and deliverables
  • Be a highly conceptual thinker who can keep an eye for detail while adhering to deadlines
  • Prepare final files for printing and administrative or technical development
  • Be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and be self-motivated
  • Work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment
  • Be up to date on visual design best practices and software
  • Work one-on-one with executive leadership to tell their stories

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant designer role
  • Proven understanding of composition, typography, and layout
  • Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Animation skills are a huge plus
  • Understanding of information design and usability principles
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Relentless eye for detail
  • Proven history of fostering positive professional relationships and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong portfolio showing a range of styles and relevant experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
