Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Digital Partnerships Manager to join the UM Australia team! You will be responsible for the final execution of the Connections Plan and everything from negotiating the paid media to orchestrating shared assets between two stakeholders, editorial briefings to the placement of assets in a programmatic environment.  


As the Senior Digital Partnerships Manager will lead the digital planning output for their client, foster digital knowledge and confidence within the team and build strong relationships with agency partners to create new connections opportunities.  

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead the digital partnerships team through the strategy and planning across all digital channels, ensuring best practice whilst providing innovate solutions.

·       Demonstrate a deep understanding of your client’s business and find solutions that add value back to the client.

·       Solid understanding of media objectives that match your client’s business objectives in order to maximise incentive goals and value gains. 

·       Supporting partnerships leads in educating and presenting to clients on all marketplace trends, developing ability to translate into actionable insights relevant to client and category. 

·       Support the partnerships leads in identifying non-traditional and non-paid partnerships opportunities that can be explored as part of the connections solution. 

·       Contribute to the ideation team in conjunction with Integrated Planning team and relevant BUs to generate the connections ideas across all digital touchpoints. 

·       Accurate executive of all client fees/charges to ensure revenue opportunities are realised on plan and in system. 

·       Support and assist tracking of all client media contracts and timely delivery

·       Proven track record in delivering strong negotiation outcomes across paid/non-paid media.

·       Strong relationships with key media vendors and support in ongoing sponsorships and large-scale media executions.

·       Provide accurate and thorough media optimisations using proprietary and industry planning tools

·       Deliver all external and internal partnerships reporting requests.

Desired Skills & Experience

·       Demonstrated experience within digital media planning at a senior level across all digital channels

·       Strong knowledge of the data and tech landscape, including experience with audience-first strategies, utilising 1st party data and DMPs/CDPs

·       Strong relationships with key media vendors – Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon etc

·       Able to identify partnerships opportunities that exist outside of standard paid media

·       Ability to identify revenue opportunities of service and solutions

·       Strong communication skills and a drive for strong reliable relationships

·       Management experience, both within a team and with a large number of stakeholders

·       Ability to generate actionable insights from results and action these into future activity

·       Ability to use and assist teams to use appropriate optimisation tools, analyse data predict performance and amend for continuous improvement of deliverables

·       High level interpersonal and negotiation skills 

·       A passion for and understanding of the Australian media landscape 

·       Adept in the use of optimisation tools and data analysis

Salary ranging from $90,000-95,000 including superannuation
