Position Summary

The Supervisor of the Digital Project Management team works cross departmentally to ensure that the execution of our digital ad campaigns is well coordinated and meticulously shepherded in effort to help our initiatives shine - for all to see. This role is responsible for helping to lead a team of project managers through digital campaign activation while simultaneously serving as a seasoned point of contact for clients, vendors, internal collaborators, and creative producers. A successful candidate will be an invaluable member of our team who is relentless in championing our client’s interests. They will help us navigate the ‘grey areas’ of campaign activation and help us all to be world class hurdlers of any logistical obstacles that challenge successful campaign launch. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees flawless execution of all digital ad campaigns in concert with internal Project Management team.
  • Collaborates with clients, creative partners, planning leads and trafficking teams in support of quality assurance for all campaigns.
  • Acts as a point of escalation between the media agency, vendors, media client and external creative teams for campaign execution across digital campaigns.
  • Assists with reviewing, organizing, and preparing creative specifications for clients, creative producers and agency counterparts on an as needed basis.
  • May serve as the key point of contact for Project Management on ad hoc campaigns as team bandwidth requires.
  • Works cross departmentally to ensure client strategies are woven into creative execution by reviewing briefs and working with craft leads to incorporate production considerations into client recommendations.
  • Works with the Project Manager leads to develop risk and change management plans as necessary. Must be proactive in presenting and helping to facilitate the execution of creative / media pivots with external and all internal stakeholders.
  • Delivers recommendations in a clear and concise manner, providing informed POVs needed for client and internal teams to make the best possible decisions concerning all media activations.
  • Creates and updates campaign status documents for internal teams/clients communicating progress and any issue tracking updates.
  • Collaborating with other crafts for refining of our execution approach. Serves as a key contributor in continuously identifying opportunities for collaboration and streamlining of workflow procedures.
  • Regularly meets with Project Management team reports to help shape their growth path. Provides constructive feedback on job performance and collaboratively ideates opportunities to nurture professional growth and development.
  • Building positive connections with our vendor counterparts to help foster goodwill and strong partnerships that benefit our overall agency relationships as well as client interests.
  • Maintaining in market ad product knowledge by keeping current with industry developments and creating opportunities for knowledge sharing.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience within either media or creative services.
  • Experience working within an advertising agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement professional standards for team participation, conflict resolution, day to day problem solving, and communication best practices.
  • Interest in leading in the areas of staff development, training and mentorship.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple ad campaigns, at once, from inception to completion.
  • Above average understanding of digital ad trafficking, digital creative formats / file types and creative troubleshooting best practices.
  • Ability to analyze vendor media proposals and other comms to draw out the key details necessary for both creative production and postproduction implementation. Demonstrated ability to succinctly transpose that info into client facing creative deliverables.
  • Well-organized, ability to multi-task, strong written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented, energetic, can work as a team or independently and responsive to feedback.
  • Professional training, presentation, and confident in client management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal capabilities, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive, effectively prioritize and set priorities at the team level as competing responsibilities present themselves.
  • Proficiency with Google Doc and Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new internal project management tools and systems.

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
