Launched in 2017, our Mediabrands & Kinesso industry-leading internship program, The Residency, invites recent graduates with diverse backgrounds to gain practical experience. All successful candidates will be provided Full-Time offers of Employment, and be entered into our 16-week training program to gain on-the-job experience and skills to be successful. 

 

Rooted in experiential learning and underpinned with custom curriculum, the program is designed to support on-going learning and development.

 

Residents will gain applicable media industry knowledge while building professional skills and general business acumen to launch a successful career in media.

 

Residents will have the opportunity to work with our global and leading front door agencies and specialty business units such as UMInitiativeMedia ExpertsRepriseOrion and Matterkind.

Don’t worry, we WON’T ask you to run for coffee. 

In fact, our internships simulate the actual job. You will be directly involved in projects and given actual tasks. In other words, you’re integrated right into the team!

 

Pitch Perfect.

Benefit from presentation experience! Our interns work on a 3-month long project that culminates in a simulated pitch to a real client.


We Are Looking For Residents In The Following Areas

  • Media Planning
  • Media Buying

Resident Criteria

  • Graduating (or graduated) from an accredited college/university program
  • Current on all trends in media and digital
  • All candidates must commit to working 16 consecutive weeks (May 8, 2022 - August 25, 2023)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Analytical mindset and able to work within Excel spreadsheets quickly & accurately
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and work well under deadlines
  • Professional, reliable, results-oriented
  • Enthusiastic about the media industry
  • Storytelling abilities
  • Eligible to work in Canada
