We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent, with a passion for all things media - to launch your career as a VP, Partnership Performance & Optimization on our Investment Team. The Investment team is tasked with working with media owners and investing IPG cash or other consideration in exchange for future media credits.  Through these partnerships we are able to create value for both our Partners and Client teams. 

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do & How You’ll Learn:

  • Support and enhance Orion’s partnership tracking process as the organization moves to a more automated/systems-based approach
  • Work across groups to troubleshoot internal process related (Orion and/or Mediabrands) issues; serve as a key point of escalation for these issues
  • Oversee onboarding checklist and confirm Publisher Partners have all required materials, set up, and alignment for seamless deal launch
  • Coordinate with Addressable Product Development (APD) team to confirm proper launch of addressable partnerships, partner details including transaction types and placement, and client exclusions
  • Coordinate with Partnership Managers, APD, Legal, and Finance to confirm all publisher info in project management tool, partner list, etc. are reflected and accurate
  • Ensure accuracy of vendor tracking across traditional, digital, and addressable; ensure all Partners Trackers are created by Ops with correct data sources and required fields monthly and all Partner Trackers are sent to Partners timely
  • Work with Partnership Managers on media discrepancies and confirmations, and collect feedback for adjustments to be made on Digital and Programmatic Trackers
  • Communicate all Partner confirmations and adjustments with Ops and FinOps to update Master Trackers
  • Cross reference all finalized Partner Trackers and certify all deal numbers, terms, and adjustments are properly reflected in Master Trackers
  • Partner with Media Investment Finance team to ensure compliance guidelines are met related to timely, accurate, and partner aligned bank statements
  • Prepare monthly status updates for Deal Makers and SVPs on Partner tracking progress (i.e., risk analysis tracker)
  • Support management of aged balances such as unconfirmed programmatic billings, trade owed, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in an operational or financial role; barter agency experience a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, attention to detail, and organizational skills required
  • Strong understanding of all media, especially programmatic/addressable
  • Operational and financial mindset
  • Proactive, driven, and desire to be challenged daily
  • Experience with Prisma, Mediaocean, Salesforce, Asana, Monday.com preferred
  • Proficiency in Tableau and MS Office tools

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $155,000.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
