Position Summary
This role will ensure the delivery and maintenance of Kinesso reporting solutions across EMEA accounts. Managing a small team of data engineers, visualization analysts and engagement managers alongside a team of data specialists based in India, this role will ensure solutions provided to clients are both accurate, and data is presented in a way that is easy to inform media activities.

Reporting to the VP of Reporting Services EMEA, this role will work closely with key clients to understand their business drivers and create reporting strategies to enable faster, data-driven decision-making, overseeing the development and maintenance of solutions and developing new processes to help clients and media teams be more effective.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Delivery
  • Work with agency and client stakeholders to develop reporting strategies and scope out reporting solutions based on our global reporting platform.
  • Design and deliver engaging reporting solutions for clients using a team of data & reporting specialists, ensuring consistent quality standards for all projects.
  • Ensure all service activities are successfully delivered on time, and any incidents are managed according to service management procedures.
  • Ensure documentation, including runbooks and project scopes, are kept up to date.
  • Track project delivery and resource management across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring that project resource utilization is aligned with the agreed scope.
  • Recruit, grow and mentor multi-functional team, including engagement management, engineering, visualization, analytics, and reporting automation specialists.
  • Provide employees with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to enhance their skills, motivation, and performance.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of respect, mutual support, flexibility, continuous learning, and commitment to business goals and customer needs across the team.
Innovations & Automation
  • Support global data platform product development, identifying market and client needs and innovative ideas to add to the backlog, and testing new features.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the team’s workflow and processes, working with senior management to develop and implement solutions.
  • Lead the migration of legacy data systems onto global data platforms, working with client teams to minimize disruption.
New Business & Client Relationships
  • Be a technical point of contact for clients and new business activities, pitching and scoping reporting services for new engagements.
  • Support the creation of regional marketing material and build relationships with key stakeholders to drive new opportunities.
  • Work with the engineering team to build proof of concepts for new business activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships across our IPG and Mediabrands partners to encourage collaboration, providing guidance on best practices and sharing knowledge across teams.
  • Work with existing partners to identify efficiencies and opportunities in the delivery of reporting and insights for clients.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience in data and analytics, including data governance, data product innovation, developing strategies and managing data development projects for external clients.
  • Experience building & delivering automated reporting solutions within the AdTech & MarTech environment. 
  • Strong understanding of multichannel marketing analytics with a focus on digital and programmatic marketing channels.
  • Strong project management skills with experience overseeing multiple client projects and relationships. 
  • Deep comprehension of the value of using large data sources and/or data warehouses and the challenges involved in their upkeep.
  • Strong ability to mentor and train employees to develop technical and soft skills to work collaboratively with clients and other team members.
  • Experienced client partner who excels at developing trusted partner relationships and diverse teams.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the business, able to talk plainly and simply about data and reporting.
  • Strong familiarity with data quality principles and processes.
  • Experience working with Snowflake, Python, and Tableau is desirable.
  • A keen eye to pinpoint vital connections between tech and data; mentally mapping the bigger picture and identifying and addressing inefficiencies across a complex web of connected platforms and teams.
  • A strong communicator, able to go into technical details where necessary and translate complex systems into understandable concepts and actions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have detailed knowledge and experience of ad serving, measurement, and data governance best practices.
  • A driven and forward-thinking approach, ready to step in to support client-facing pitch work, and confident to present, demo and field questions on calls and in-person stage presentations.
