Position Summary

This role sits as part of the Rufus (dedicated Amazon) team in the AWS EMEA Hub, based in London and servicing the AWS client team in Europe. The AWS team at Rufus work in a dynamic, fast paced environment where innovating on behalf of consumers is at the heart of everything we do.

As a client-focused business leader with deep digital experience across all channels from brand to demand, you’re a champion of leading clients and understand the interplay between brand to performance. And as someone who gets it, you’re adept at leading clients and expressing these winning ideas brilliantly in high-stakes pitch and client meeting rooms.

In this senior role, your marketing mind and gravitas will lend itself exceptionally with whom you’ll work with and partner every day. Ultimately, you will oversee the work across internal agency teams, including SBUs (specialized business unit), with a focus on B2B marketing for a highly visible and significant global account.

You will build a foundational bridge between the agency’s capabilities and our EMEA client and flex your leadership muscle and expertise to help deliver clients’ objectives and operational excellence across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for senior EMEA clients across digital brand and demand campaigns, orchestrating the global onboarding, planning, and activation across all digital channels with an emphasis on performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Head of Digital Strategy & Performance to develop frameworks for orchestrating a highly complex B2B account with heavy campaign volume and multiple EMEA stakeholders.
  • Ensure best practices and centrally developed strategies are rolled out and adapted as needed across EMEA to drive consistency and connectivity across countries. You will ensure teams are fully supported to do their best work and will mobilize the very best resources of the agency to deliver excellence for all deliverables.
  • Identify capability / resource gaps and take actions to ensure ongoing outstanding quality of service.
  • You will define inter-agency “excellence” KPIs and monitor performance, while leading the development and implementation of action plans to improve client satisfaction, continuously.
  • Identify client and agency needs for further education and training across digital crafts and coordinate learning opportunities to uplevel employees, as well as client knowledge in the digital space.
  • Demonstrate total command of B2B digital marketing in front of the client’s and industry’s most senior leaders, including delivering industry influencing POVs, sharing knowledge with teams, building case studies, and other thought leadership initiatives.

  • Possession of poise, gravitas, and charisma to command rooms, effect change and drive excellence
  • Adaptable in fast-paced environments; you are decisive, yet also skilled in building solutions and solving problems across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Inspiring leadership, with the innate ability to strategically influence others
  • A collaborator who knows how to navigate organizational dynamics across internal and external teams to ensure success
  • Ability to deeply immerse into the client’s business, brand, and principles
