Position Summary

The Coordinator works closely with the Manager to support the agency in its next phase of evolution.  The successful candidate will help support and maintain agency relationships across a portfolio of media accounts at IPG Mediabrands. The candidate will be responsible for various administrative duties that support the day-to-day activities for all Orion clients including providing strategic and tactical campaign guidance.  The Coordinator will work in conjunction with other departments including Activation and Finance, as well as other business units as required. This role requires you to work as part of an integrated team ensuring clear, timely messaging and reporting. The successful candidate will embody and support the Work Hard, Be Nice philosophy of Orion and similarly represent our overarching Mediabrands Canada values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, validating and delivering client spend and savings reports to all Orion client teams, both internal as well as external
  • Deliver on financial reporting tasks, forecasting and actualizing client activity
  • Responsible for managing day-to-day deliverables and prioritization of projects across departments while ensuring accuracy, operational excellence and timely delivery
  • Build and maintain key relationships internally to drive greater collaboration
  • Support key projects with internal and external media partners, including partnership pacing and tracking 
  • Participate and attend agency training and education programs
  • Prepare and update regular status reports and communicate with internal team to track deliverables

Desired Skills & Experience

·        Diploma in related field or equivalent work experience

·        0 ‐ 1 year work or internship experience

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications needed, experience in Excel is a must

·        Excellent verbal & written communication skills

·        Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure

·        A team player that takes a proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.

·        Excellent ability to manage and prioritize time effectively

·        Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

·        Proven ability to approach obstacles with creativity and resolve 

·        Organizational skills and strong sense of attention to detail a must
