Position Summary

The Audience Solutions team is a function within the Strategy craft, built to strengthen our data-led services and strategic planning. The Audience Solutions team evolves our client’s audience first planning and data-driven activation across all media buys. This team works cross-functionally and connects the agency’s proprietary people-based data to enable data-driven decisions throughout planning and activation to maximize our clients’ desired business outcomes.

The Associate Director, Audience Solutions, will act as a day-to-day contributor on specific client teams guiding the development and execution of addressable audience strategy across all media channels. The Associate Director, Audience Solutions is an expert in leveraging the agency’s and client’s proprietary data assets to develop advanced audiences for advertising activation.

To be successful in this role, the person needs to be a critical thinker with the desire to identify and solve a brand’s business problems through data. The ideal candidate needs to have a self-starter mentality to help enhance audience & data products and services.

This person will contribute to modernizing Initiative’s audience-first approach to providing solutions to our clients' business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the analysis of understanding our client's industry and their position within it to identify audience opportunities to drive growth
  • Utlizie our property data & tech stack to unlock consumer insights for informing advertising, marketing, and creative opportunities
  • Work directly with the client to understand their business and data challenges to uncover opportunities for improvement through our proprietary tech stack or partners
  • Develop trusted relationships with internal teams and external clients by bringing thought leadership on how brands should segment their market and translating that analysis into an activation framework
  • Leveraging the agency’s proprietary data and platform to construct the highest-value audiences based on the client's needs & industry analysis
  • Partner with the Audience Science  team to use statistical models to build advanced high-value audiences
  • Work with clients to understand their 1PD collection and attributes to utilize for media activation and advanced modeling 
  • Collaborate with channel activation teams to identify the optimal data sources across 1P, 2P and 3P that translate audience strategy into a consistent framework 
  • Use an understanding of data and digital media ecosystem to identify ew data opportunities to enhance activation efforts 
  • Champion in innovation and help client educate and develop forward-thinking digital roadmap and testing plan in facing the cookie-less world

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Approximately 4 years experience in one of the following areas 
    • Audience Development
    • In-Platform Media Activation
    • Market Research & Analysis 
    • Strategy, media or creative agency 
    • CRM / CDP / DMP Deployment 
  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of the ad tech landscape, particularly with audience data
  • Proven success in collaborating across multiple teams, handling multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced setting
  • Problem-solving and solutions mindset
  • Experience in using research & data to identify insights to inform marketing strategies 
  • Ability to manage multiple-projects and work collaborate across various stakeholders
  • Knowledge across key media channels such as programmatic, social, search, TV, partnerships, and direct buys
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to develop story-telling presentation deck
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
