Working with an established Data & Tech team, Data Analysts and Developers are responsible for providing reporting and data management assistance to Mediabrands Canada's internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Data & Technology Solutions Team teams on continued support and maintenance of existing dashboards and data feeds
  • Provide Ad Hoc Analysis of data sources and decide on best way to incorporate them into reports and dashboards
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with existing processes and fix issues as and when then occur
  • Liaise with Data Providers to ensure data feeds are always online and working consistently
  • Create reports and dashboards within Tableau using the best data visualization techniques
  •  Make recommendations for improvements in dash-boarding and reporting to management
  • Develop a thorough understanding of existing processes and client needs
  •  Liaise with a variety of internal stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

  • MS SQL Server Scripting – selecting, joining, aggregating, debugging & creating views and procedures
  • Strong understanding of RDBMs systems – specifically reporting
  • Strong problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written); ability to provide concise, clear reporting and actionable analysis
  • Ability to pull data from multiple sources and formulate comprehensive and actionable reports
  • Proven ability to self-check work to ensure results are error-free
  • Ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with MS Excel & Powerpoint
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Advertising, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences or related fields (Nice to have)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence, Tableau, Data Visualization, Python, and R (Nice to have)
