Position Summary

The Digital Manager works closely with the Head of Digital to support the agency in the next phase of evolution. The Digital Manager will act as key partner and agency contact across multiple media accounts at IPG Mediabrands. This person is a Digital subject matter expert, they bring an innovative mindset and strong business acumen to help drive business growth.

 

The Digital Manager is expected to achieve the agency’s mission of providing strategic solutions to deliver on client business objectives, and to build successful partnerships and product offerings. This role requires you to work as part of an integrated team ensuring clear, timely messaging and reporting while delivering media intelligence to enhance the client media product.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and involvement across all the pillars of Orion digital (Social, Addressable & Partnerships)
  • Development and implementation of digital processes within team and across agency. Identify and improve operational efficiencies through effective client and investment processes and approaches.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders (Agency of Record - AORs, Strategic Business Units - SBUs) on all facets of Orion digital products
  • Work in partnership with relevant internal and external teams to build relationships and support the prioritization of projects across departments while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery that drives company growth
  • Support the Head of Digital during partnership evaluations, negotiations, tracking & pacing
  • Act as an Orion advocate to ensure client teams are fully educated on all Orion capabilities and understand the Orion model
  • Collaborate with team members on a variety of tasks, presentations, and global requests
  • Provide various Orion training sessions for agencies, SBU’s & partners
  • Oversee the development, training & career advancement of junior team members
  • Adapt to changing business needs as Orion’s digital product evolves

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven success in a strategy and/ or buying function within a media agency
  • Exceptional management and organizational skills with the proven ability to lead a team
  • Knowledge of the addressable media landscape
  • Knowledge and experience with in-console platforms (Social, Addressable)
  • Solid relationship-building skills and presentation experience
  • A deep understanding of the digital marketplace from products, video, mobile, programmatic and technology offerings
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects.  Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including budget management proficiency
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
