Supportive role to the business director. Develop close client relationships through strategic direction and deliver winning media solutions for its customer base

Responsabilità principali

The position responsibilities shall not be limited to the following:-

Account Direction:
1) Supporting role to the team lead
2) To be the primary contact for client and to drive client strategy
3) Manage account P&L together with the account lead, ensuring responsible financial management and delivery of account expectations
4) To drive business growth through existing clients, developing proactive action plan continuously
5) To deliver against agreed account plan and budget for all clients
6) Direct team members to ensure appropriate campaigns & programmes are executed appropriately
7) Keep abreast of outside issues that may impact the clients business

Client Relationship:
1) Develop a deep understanding of client’s business beyond media and has a clear understanding of business implications
2) Contribute to client marketing strategy and thinking
3) Maintain social and professional client personnel contact about direction & issues

New Business:

1) Responsibility in helping to develop new business pitches with the team lead

Personnel Management:

1) Ensure that planners/assigned staff remain updated and competitive through relevant training and coaching
2) Coordinate with GM/CSD on training programmes needed by staff
3) Provide up-to-date assessment and recommendations of planners/assigned staff to GM/CSD/Management to ensure that team remain happy at work


1) Develop and live creativity in ensuring client solutions are award worthy

Competenze ed esperienza desiderate

Experience & Qualifications

8-10 years of work experience in the media industry with planning functions

·        Experience in managing people is required

 Essential Skills

·        Understands customer requirements, and develops a compelling vision which will form the basis of their overall communications plan

·        Can leave clients through an effective Engagement Planning process from Insights, through Ideas to Solutions

·        Skilled at developing and promoting and compelling proposition for and within their market

·        Capable of engaging with customers and prospects in a credible and influential way. Has high-level consultancy skills.

·        Account management skills, including the ability to upsell added-value solutions, develop new revenue streams

·        Partnering skills. Able to work effectively with third parties, e.g. creative agencies, event management companies, etc.

·        Delivery focused, ensure that all elements of the plan are in line with the overall communications strategy

·        Coaching, facilitating and training, helping employees and clients to develop their skills in the planning area
