Position Summary

The role of GPL is a leadership position at Reprise, our digitally-led full-service performance agency within the Mediabrands Australia group. We’ve created this role to ensure our teams have the highest levels of performance credibility and expertise, and that our agency partners UM and Initiative, and our clients, are receiving incredible service and results. As GPL for UM in Sydney, you will be a key senior figure ensuring and maintaining a strong and collaborative business partnership across our agency leadership teams. The position is grounded in driving team integration, performance marketing, thought leadership, new revenue opportunities and broad project management across enterprise level clients. You will have experience and confidence working across teams to secure new business opportunities and revenue growth by complementing our agency partner client teams with your Performance Marketing expertise. You will support the General Manager by having an eye for spotting opportunities for growth within our current client base and being able to build opportunities from concept to presentation and implementation. Within your role you will be supporting a team of senior leaders, including Reprise Craft Leads, and will have direct people management of performance focused Directors, while actively contributing thought leadership through your own strong digital media acumen. You will have strong senior level experience in established performance marketing crafts, such as Paid Search, Social and SEO with an interest in emerging capabilities across e-commerce, CRO and Analytics. Including the ability to problem solve client business challenges through a performance focused lens. You will also take a leadership position on 1 or 2 key clients, with a maximum allocation of your time being 50%. Success in this role is defined by a) Strong collaboration & partnership. b) Performance marketing leadership c) Contribute to the success of the company through revenue growth. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members across Reprise and our agency partners
• Work closely with our agency counterparts to develop a strong working relationship
• Promote positive leadership by bringing a collaborative approach to cross-team projects, problem solving and deliverables.
• Champion positive traits that build connections, lean-in attitudes and naturally care about our collective team success
• Role model and leadership figure across Reprise and the agency
• Ensure a professional, supportive and inclusive working environment
• Work with local market leads to ensure resource management and workflow designation are running at optimal capacity across teams
• Lead a team of Performance Directors across the UM agency patch in Sydney.

• Leadership position within our Sydney office
• Actively engage in leadership meetings to contribute to the success of the business
• Proven experience in growing and developing client relationships
• Strong commercial acumen
• Partner with key senior stake holders to deliver on net new and organic revenue growth across the business
• Maintain close and firm accountability on all applicable revenue targets
• Collaborate with fellow senior team members to discover new client opportunities across Reprise growing craft services
• Ensure all elements of agreed scopes of work are delivered • Work as part of a GPL bench team, to provide short term cover where required.

• Utilize your background in performance media to recommend new opportunities to improve client results and solve client challenges
• Actively bring forward proven paid search, social, SEO and e-commerce tactics that generate and improve customer flow and performance
• Deliver innovation to our clients through betas and test & learn opportunities
• Actively ensure we are minimising overspends, and that all client accounts are receiving regular datadriven insights, test & learn frameworks and thought leadership.
• Link client business challenges to a performance focused strategy and ultimately to tactical implementation
• Keep up to date on client activity across paid performance and non-media assignments CLIENT
• Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with senior level clients and agency partners
• Drive performance marketing thought leadership and actively contribute to wider digital strategies with both our client and agency stakeholders
• Understand business challenges faced by our clients, while working collaboratively across teams on performance marketing based solutions
• Deliver regular stakeholder mapping and stakeholder training for your teams, ensuring we are meeting the relationship demands of our clients.
• Assist in leading performance focused client meetings. Including- annuals reviews, QBRs and large scale project based meetings
• Proactive in presenting data opportunities, new solutions and or potential tests with vendors
• Stay up to date on all major client deliverables and KPIs
• Actively participate in agency partner strategy & planning PRODUCT
• Work alongside Reprise Product Leads to ensure innovation and best practices are maintained for key projects, pitches and established client commitments • Build successful and productive relationships with our platform partners. Including Google, Facebook, Twitter and Amazon • Help manage product focused education across all agency teams to keep the wider agency up to date on major product changes and enhancements. Including- major platform updates, foundational certifications & key industry trends
• Work with Product Leads and Directors to engage agency partners and clients on new product opportunities
• As major product developments roll out, ensure communications and POVs are shared across agency teams and applicable clients
